What a day...

Sorry I was so late with the clue...it's been a crazy day. First I went to the dentist where I received a ton of nitrous oxide. It made me so dizzy that I put sodium chloride on my cereal. Things just got worse when I went outside and a car drove by spewing clouds of carbon monoxide. Not only could I not breath, but is smelled like sulfur dioxide. Hopefully things will improve once I figure out how to abbreviate the elements of my compound problems.

By the way, I had a great salad today with cucumbers and spinach. I topped it with some pumpkin seeds and pomegranate dressing.

My creativity is drained from the last post so no witty paragraph with the clues... My neck is hanging like a giraffe from looking at this keyboard. I can't even remember what I did before I started posting today - my memory is as bad as an elephant. Not to mention I was kept up all night by a barking pack of dogs outside my window. I felt like the cross-breed of an ass and a horse when I woke up this morning.

Big Announcement!!!

I will be revealing this announcement tonight...but for you frequent visitors:

Ladies and Gentlemen...Trivia night at Lew's Grill and Bar just got a little more interesting. Starting with the results tonight, I will be tracking all teams' Total Points each week. The 8 teams that score the most total points between now and August 13th - that's ten weeks of trivia - will be eligible to play in the Tournament of Champions in late August. Additionally, if your team does not make it on points alone, you may still be eligible as we will also include the two teams who come to trivia most often over the course of those 10 weeks but have not already qualified based on points alone. This gives us a total of 10 teams.*

And now for the best part...at the Tournament of Champions will be giving away $1,000 worth of cash and prizes.

I will be tracking scores based on team name so choose your team names wisely tonight. Also starting tonight, I will be asking for a weekly roster of your team. In order to be eligible for the Tournament of Champions, every team member must have attended at least half of their team's "regular season" games. No ringers will be allowed at the tournament. Finally, any team that is caught cheating in any trivia game by using cell phones, the Internet, or any other information outside the bar will not be eligible for the tournament.

And here's your hint for this week...know your weather

It seemed like it may rain so I went outside to check my instrument that measures air pressure. It was really cold for the summer with the combined cooling effect of wind and temperature.
Fortunately, I don't live near the western North Pacific Ocean or I would be worried about that big cyclone heading that way.
Ah...This kind of weather really makes me miss the fine dust or salt particles dispersed through a portion of the atmosphere which reduce visibility...

What a game last week...

It took me 5 days to process the incredible turn of events I witnessed last Wednesday...

Sitting in 6th place with only the last question to go, Viagra was concerned about their performance. They knew their flaccid, dysfunctional play had put them in this position and they needed to really get it up for the last question. Needless to say, their blood was flowing when they found out they were one of only three teams to get the final answer correct. It was a long, hard road, but they somehow pulled it out!

On a side note, I may have an exciting announcement to make either this week or next...depends on when we get everything finalized so stay tuned.
